HELPING NAVIGATE WAVES OF CHANGE.

PAUL CLONTS, LCSW

As a licensed clinical social worker, I am passionate about helping people work through life’s challenges and struggles. I have spent the past 10 years gaining education, training, and experience to help people burdened with mental health struggles and relationship challenges. My approach to therapy is down-to-earth, non-threatening, genuine, and compassionate. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and supportive therapy. I love educating, supporting, and joining people in the process of improving their lives. My goal in therapy is to help people feel normal and human as they navigate their struggles. My hope is to help and support people as they decide to create new thoughts and actions that lead to more fulfilling, balanced, and enjoyable lives.

My professional experiences include working as a clinical therapist at a community mental health clinic, a school-based mental health therapist for students K-12th grade, a mental health case manager for older adults with severe and persistent mental illness, a crisis counselor with adults struggling with mental health and substance use crises, and as a staff member in residential treatment centers working with adolescent boys struggling with mental health and familial difficulties.

Outside of my clinical work, you can find me playing guitar and songwriting, surfing, rock climbing, making pottery, and spending time with my wonderful wife and our dog Penny, family, and friends.
